Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
The Security Administrative Specialist provides data center management access control and operational administrative security support.
Input security badge updates in the local badging system as each user request has been approved by the local data center access control process.
Coordinate access approval through Government Point of Contact (GPOC) or their designee’s approval.
Maintain tracking records and filing systems; archives files as necessary
Recommend new administrative support processes
Update security data; run inquiries; provide quality control; develop reports using various IC and/or DoD databases
Provide support coordinating; tasking and managing security action responses from internal agency; other Government; and industry organizations
Maintain and update appropriate security related databases
Provide administrative/customer support duties for access control and physical security support to the agency Headquarter buildings
Participates in special projects as required.
2-5 years of related experience in facility or industrial security administration, preferably in the government contracting industry.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
Oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers routine questions in a clear and concise manner
Experience in access control; security personnel and physical security functional areas; to include but not limited to access control software and systems; personnel security policies and procedures; and facility physical security requirements
Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
Use of the Intelligence Community badging system is considered a positive

The likely salary range for this position is $48,006 - $72,010. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
