General Dynamics Information Technology(GDIT), a world leader in Defense IT Systems Integration and Services, is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Manager to join its Air Force (AF) Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team.
We provide modernization for the integrated sustainment of the AF DCGS which also includes lab support for operational, production and test environments. This position is located at Langley AFB, VA.
In this position you manage all service delivery-related processes and the delivery of projects from engineering to operations. You act as the service owner for all end-user and customer-facing IT services and solutions and ensure end-to-end delivery of services based on Government-approved IT Service Management (ITSM) processes:
Lead large-scale IT service delivery with an emphasis on best practices to transition to easier-to-use, self-help formats of delivery that reduce the frequency and quantity of human interaction.
Work across the TO implement innovative solutions and automation that increase operational efficiencies.
Ensure seamless integration of projects into the DCGS enterprise.
Ensure all systems are maintained and operated in accordance with approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) at agreed levels outlined in formal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
BS/MS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
10 years of experience with COMSEC standards and processes
Program Manager 801 or IT Project Manager 802 compliant.
