Job Description

Our work depends on The User Administrator is responsible for the provisioning, management, and security of user accounts and access rights. They will work with users to resolve access issues and provide technical support. 

  • Instruct end users on the proper use of software 
  • May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies 
  • Records Management knowledge with a focus on electronic records 
  • Experience supporting electronic collaboration capabilities, configuration and user support 
  • Experience in SharePoint and Open Text 
  • Information Security: Access management and control 
  • IT applications/Web based applications: user administration, configuration  
  • Platform One experience: specifically with collaboration capabilities: Jira, Confluence, and Mattermost 
  • MFA - User support, the system admins handle the technical portion 
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn Rationale DOORS Next Generation: User Administration, application configuration 
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn CAMEO: user administration, application configuration 
  • Knowledge of Content Server/Open Text: User administration, application configuration 
  • Process Mapping 
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals 
  • May serve as a team or task lead 
  • Participates in special projects as required. 
  • Provision and manage user accounts and access rights 
  • Resolve user access issues 
  • Provide technical support to users 
  • Work with other IT staff to implement security policies and procedures 
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with user provisioning, user management, access control, and security 
  • Strong soft skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork 


  • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s), BA/BS or equivalent. 
  • 3+ years of experience in user administration or a similar role 
  • US Citizenship Required 

Must possess appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification.  

  • As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the significant responsibilities placed upon them. Please be aware that because of these critical duties, you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring, and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures. Privileged Users are subject to a zero tolerance policy for security violations. 

Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
