GDIT is looking for an experienced and strong project manager / scrum master who will be the single point of contact for functional, technical and public stakeholder engagement task and activities. This candidate will serve as the direct liaison between the team and customer, and is responsible for all aspects of the project , including assessment of project issues and development of resolutions to meet schedule, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.  He/she/they will be responsible for managing development and upgrades of a major mission critical application with COTS (FileNet-IS,P8, SQL Server, IDOL) and multiple pre-existing custom components and services. The successful candidate will function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and may supervise others. 


o   5+ years of project management experience on COTS integration projects

o   Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or relevant experience

o   10 years of overall, relevant work experience (a post-graduate degree from an accredited university may substitute for 6 years of experience)

o   Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and teams

o   Strong interpersonal, cross team, and vendor coordination, organizational and motivational skills
o   Project management professional with working knowledge of Agile software development practices
o   Ability to lead functional and scoping discussions based on best practices 

o   Ability to rapidly prioritize competing requirements to ensure tight adherence to an aggressive project schedule

o   Ability to apply expertise across key tasks and high impact assignments

o   Ability to evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
o   Strong people management skills for leading a team of application developers, analysts, database administrators, system engineers, and other positions as assigned

o   Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and meeting management expertise with strong presentation and facilitation skills, including experience with C-level client facing interaction

Desired Qualifications
o   5+ years of full life cycle project management experience
o   7+ years of full lifecycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies

o   7+ years of experience managing tactical development, technology refresh, COTS integration, enhancements or stabilization of custom application projects

o   Certified Scrum Master

o   Experience with the management and coordination of Public outreach including coordination with multiple internal stakeholder groups to manage videos, surveys, webinar, FAQs, discussion board, inquiry management
o   Experience with Proof of concepts, decision analysis & resolution, design decision analysis

o   Experience with managing the development and operations of content management solutions, workflow, contact management, Custom .Net and shared services.
o   Working knowledge of product backlog management, knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), automated testing & monitoring tools, life cycle methodologies and COTS evaluation and implementations.

o   Proficient with deliverables (SLA, SDLC and related work products), project schedule, program goals, risk, quality metrics, customer satisfaction and Earned Value Management (EVM) in accordance with the FERC IT strategy, CPIC, ITIRB initiatives and service level agreements.
