Come join General Dynamics Information Technology team working on the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) 360 program.

As a SharePoint Analyst, you will provide technical assistance for Tier II and Tier III customer support and troubleshooting for SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online (SPO 365) configuration, user support, and out-of-the-box development including workflows and use of PowerApps / PowerBI. The SharePoint Analyst will also possess skills and knowledge of a limited number of 3rd party tools as well as have the ability to create and customize content, build and customize workflows, and provide technical input.

This is a full time position. Candidates will be required to work 9am to 5pm, Eastern Time, Monday – Friday, excluding government holidays. This position is fully remote.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Organizing and analyzing incoming requests for information, in all forms (i.e., tickets, emails, phone calls), and developing informed solutions back to the team, customer, and client.

  • Performing SharePoint troubleshooting, integration, testing, and solution deployment.

  • Using excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a focus on interpreting and clarifying user requirements and subsequently developing a subset of these requirements.

  • Working collaboratively with client and with varying degrees of autonomy, troubleshooting Tier 2 and Tier 3 tickets in SharePoint (2016 and 365) and all 3rd party tools.

  • Analyzing, understanding, and resolving complex SharePoint related issues at a very high level and pursue the most relevant course of action.

  • Working in a fast paced and challenging environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Satisfying customer requirements by creating features solutions within the SharePoint OOTB capabilities.

  • Researching, identifying, recommending solutions to satisfy user requirements.

  • Working Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues to completion, including full solutions and issue close out procedures.

  • Be able to apply hands-on experience when troubleshooting or creating customized solutions in SharePoint 2016 or SharePoint Online.

  • Possess extensive knowledge of how to set up and maintain SharePoint sites and site collections.

  • Use prior knowledge to create and maintain both out of the box and complex custom workflow solutions.

  • Administrative responsibilities, including (but not limited to) weekly reporting, presenting to client, and metrics gathering.

  • Documenting all necessary procedures, updates, training, and closeout procedures as mandated by the client.

  • Use knowledge and prior use of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, and JQuery to create and update SharePoint solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Must have current Security+ Certificate (or able to obtain one within 14 days of hire).

  • Active DoD Public Trust Clearance or higher.

  • 5 years of IT experience.

  • Demonstrated skill in SharePoint Analysis/Development.

  • Demonstrated skill in IT Customer Service/Help Desk Support

  • Highly Desired: Experience in providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support from assignment to close-out.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in an IT or Computer Science related field.

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
