Responsible for performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.

Provide operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning and hardware upgrades.

Provide specialized expertise within multiple IT systems such as: Windows 2016/2019 server, Red Hat Enterprise, SharePoint 2010, VMWare hypervisor, VMWare Horizon, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines. This would include performing installation, administration, troubleshooting and support of server operating systems/services, storage, and Data Center solutions.  

Oversee the implementation of system specifications; integration, testing, and documentation are a key part of the role.  

Exhibit strong technical skills as they relate to numerous systems and storage technologies including but not limited to: Windows Server 2016/2019, Microsoft SQL Server, DC’s/DNS, DFS, Active Directory, DHCP, Wave, IIS, VMware ESXi 7, Cisco UCS/Nexus, Infoblox, SCCM, Hyper-V.

  • Core Systems: Domain Controllers, Linux servers, DNS, VMware, HP Blade System, Procure Switching

  • Supplemental Systems: SQL, Backups, DHCP, Puppet, Ansible, Share/NFTS permissions, DFS, CIFS, NFS, NETAPP, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Red Hat Clustering, FUSE

  • System administration and IT certification in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields required

  • Working knowledge of Administration and maintenance of Bare Metal hypervisors (VMWare, XenServer, Hyper-V, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Administration and maintenance of configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Administration and maintenance of Weblogic 11g Application Server

  • Working knowledge of Administration and maintenance of Unix/Linux Operating System

  • Working knowledge of Sun hardware configuration and maintenance (Trusted Solaris)

  • Working knowledge of San storage configuration and maintenance

  • Working knowledge of Basic enterprise networking configuration and maintenance; routing, redistribution, ACLs, NAT, VPN, Layer 2/3 switching, monitoring solutions (Solarwinds/NetMRI), encryption devices (KG175, KG250, etc)
