At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Configuration Analyst supporting an Agile development and delivery team for HHS, you will be trusted to deliver high quality releases. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Provide support to project teams in configuring and base-lining project items.
Prepare configuration documentations and maintain Configuration Management (CM) database.
Review and recommend improvements to existing CM processes.
Maintain data quality, integrity and security of CM database.
Schedule audits on CM database and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
Develop security guidelines to avoid unauthorized damage or usage of project items.
Assist in management, maintenance and automating of CM tools.
Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.
Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments in an Agile, DevOps environment.
Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
2+ years of experience as a Configuration Specialist or related field.
Experience with MS Office suite of products.
Experience support with JIRA.
CM tools experience.
Experience with Agile development teams.
Candidate MUST be able to obtain a Public Trust.
CSM Certification is preferred but not required.
