As a member of the JBLM NTC contract team providing critical services to prepare units to function effectively in the Army’s Unified Land Operations, you will be trusted to deliver technical and training solutions at the right time to achieve critical Government training priorities.  Available positions/descriptions follow:

  • Training Support Lead – The Training Support Lead provides subject matter expertise in all phases of exercise planning and development of Mission Command and staffing training to achieve commanders training objectives. Manages and coordinate the activities of several teams who teach, coach, mentor units on the individual, leader, and staff warfighting functions.  Implements an effective and reliable staff and event training programs that is systematically and periodically updated as milestones are met, and conditions change. Facilitates In Progress Reviews (IPRs) with unit leadership to determine training objectives and required training support packages to meet stated objectives. Supervises the planning leads to ensure inputs and outputs of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) are generated to enable training.  Must be capable of establishing credibility and interfacing with senior unit leaders to determine exercise training objectives and convey associated requirements. Keeps the Site Manager and MTC staff informed on the status of upcoming exercises and training events. Forecasts and communicates anticipated resource shortfalls related to both the training unit and the MTC staff


  • Training Support Lead:
    • Bachelor’s degree (subject immaterial), Preferred Master’s Degree
    • Must be a former Battalion Commander, Preferred Brigade Command
    • MEL 4 qualified or equivalent level military schooling
    • Minimum of eight years’ experience with Military operations, training, and training support at the Brigade or higher level
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in operations and Unit Training Management (UTM) at the Brigade level or higher
    • Expert in Doctrine and Training Policy
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel)

  • Technical Integration Lead –.  Responsible for the scheduling and management coordination of all technical, networking, system integration, exercise design, and technical administrative support of the installations MTC as they conduct Mission Command training and exercise support. Manages all Technical Support Team employees and provides ongoing direction in the performance of the assigned technical support program. Monitors all technical training of contract employees to ensure they remain certified in their jobs.


  • Technical Integration Lead:
    • Bachelor’s degree (subject immaterial)
    • Minimum of eight years’ experience with Military training and training support
    • Experience in technical support and training requirements at Brigade or higher level
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience or equivalence in integrating training environments, planning architectures and stimulation of Army Mission Command Systems in support of unit training events and distributed exercises
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel)

  • Network Engineer Lead – Leads the MTC Network Team and manages the overall communications architecture for the MTC with coordination responsibility with outside agencies. Responsible for the planning and directing establishment of event communications architecture, coordinating communications plans, configuration of communications equipment, implementation of RMF compliance processes on MTC supported systems, and assist in installing equipment and circuitry in support of distributed exercises. The Network Manager coordinates all aspects of the communications architecture and exercise support plans with communications planners at other simulation facilities, the MTC NEC, and participating tactical units. Plans include distribution of data, voice, and VTC over both LAN and WAN in both classified and unclassified modes for simulations/stimulation networks; NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and tactical networks. Attends Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) Conferences as required by the Government. Serves as an alternate Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) and Information System Security Officer (ISSO)


  • Network Engineer Lead:
    • BA or BS degree in Network management or a related field, Preferred Masters
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Network architecture design and implementation. 
    • Experienced in advanced planning, troubleshooting and maintenance skills on the Microsoft server platform and CISCO router, switch and firewall configuration and SONET configuration/architecture. 
    • Experienced with technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies.
    • Knowledgeable in specific product lines (Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, Tripwire)
    • Experienced in NIST, DoD, & Army Cybersecurity & Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies, directives, instructions, manuals, and best business practices
    • Experienced with RMF Certification & Accreditation process and Information Assurance requirements.

  • Information System Security Officer (ISSO). – The ISSO is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the MTC’s RMF program. The ISSO ensures the appropriate operational security posture is maintained and documented for MTC information systems. Responsible for defining & implementing standard operating procedures, implementing DoD, Army, & MTC policies, and creating & implementing plans of action and milestones (POA&M) in response to vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, & inspections.  Assures successful implementation and functionality of security requirements and appropriate IT policies and procedures that are consistent with the organizations mission and goals. Provides supervisory support of additional ISSOs identified and designated by the Contract Staff Leadership to ensure that all information systems, programs of record and networks are managed IAW their applicable System Security Plans (SSP).  Ensure each ISSO is trained and certified as required by the Information System that they are assigned: PEO-C3T Mission Command, PEO-STRI JLCCTC, PEO-STRI LVC-IA


  • Information System Security Officer (ISSO).:
    • DoD 8570.01-M baseline certifications as an IAM II
    • Experienced with NIST, DoD, & Army Cybersecurity & Risk Management Framework policies, directives, instructions, manuals, and best business practices.
    • Knowledge of current industry methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating IT security assessment, monitoring, detection and remediation tools and procedures utilizing standards-based concepts and capabilities with at least Four years of demonstrated supervisory experience.
    • Knowledge of disaster recovery continuity of operations plans.
    • Knowledge of enterprise incident response program, roles, and responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of Defense-in-Depth).
    • Knowledge of known vulnerabilities from alerts, advisories, errata, and bulletins.
    • Knowledge of measures or indicators of system performance and availability.
    • Knowledge of network systems management principles, models, methods (e.g. end-to-end systems performance monitoring), and tools. Knowledge of server administration and systems engineering theories, concepts, and methods.
    • Knowledge of systems lifecycle management principles, including software security and usability. Skill in determining how a security system should work (including its resilience and dependability capabilities) and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes.

  • Leader Training Lead – Responsible for managing and coordinating a team of doctrinal and operations experts and multimedia specialist in the design, development, revision/updating and deliver of a variety of leadership products and services.  Leadership products directly support a Commander’s Unit Leader Training and Development Programs.  Responsible for planning, resourcing, and executing individual and collective leader training plans by providing a wide range of training products and services that are founded upon current Army doctrine and incorporate leadership theory from both military and civilian sources. 


  • Leader Training Lead:
    • Bachelor’s degree (subject immaterial), Preferred Master’s Degree
    • MEL I Qualified or equivalent level of military schooling
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory experience
    • Experience in operations and training requirements at Division or higher level
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with leader training
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel)

  • Knowledge Management Specialist/SharePoint Administrator – Responsible to develop and implement knowledge management initiatives with oversight from the GDIT Program Manager and the Government.  This includes providing administrative oversight of the current MTC SharePoint web portal. This position requires routine access to and working with Government sensitive data, routine interface with MTC Government Knowledge Management Leads, and may be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences.  Manages and oversees content management on the MTC SharePoint portal. Web site design experience, or equivalent, working in the Microsoft SharePoint environment or similar web based collaboration software tool(s).  Experience designing and implementing web interfaces and user content, collaboration tools and content management, workflow processes, basic troubleshooting.


  • Knowledge Management Specialist:
    • Experienced in knowledge architecture and how knowledge flows across people, processes and available technology. 
    • Ability to design, test and implement organizational knowledge management initiatives with direction/guidance from Program Manager and MTC Government Leadership. 
    • Able to develop and use modern technology (e.g. relational database systems, analysis of verbal and numerical data, etc.) to develop and strengthen MTC day-to-day information flow and distribution, validating processes through performance measurements and program evaluations.

  • Intelligence Training Lead – The Intelligence Training Lead manages all aspects of intelligence training support to individual and collective training (Company to Division/Corps), including virtual Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (vUAS), Multiple Unified Simulation Environment / Virtual Reality Scene Generator (MUSE / VRSG) training, and WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM) training. Manages Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and support functions. Leads the IEWTPT Team and coordinates with installation foundry to ensure all applicable intelligence functions are accurately replicated in support of unit training requirements. Coordinates to ensure appropriate Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) training is available to units prior to collective training. Serves as senior Intelligence Trainer for all training events to include the Leader Training Program for the development and delivery of realistic and relevant profession development training.


  • Intelligence Training Lead:
    • Bachelor’s degree (subject immaterial), Preferred Master’s Degree
    • Served as a Brigade S2 or Division G2
    • MEL 4 qualified or equivalent level military schooling
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Military intelligence planning in support of operations, training and ISR requirements
    • Expert in Army/Joint Doctrine
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel)
    • OP SECRET / SCI Clearance
