Responsibilities

GDIT is currently looking for an experienced, TS/SCI cleared PM to join its mission critical team located in Washington, DC. All candidates must have the knowledge and experience to help achieve the strategic, business, and financial goals of both GDIT and the client organization based on regular interface with GDIT / client representatives, stakeholders and senior leaders across the various sections, branches, and departments within the client organization and GDIT.  The PM is also responsible for ensuring adherence to all plans, schedules, and performance / deliverables expectations, to include the management of the program budget and allocation of funds.  The PM should have strong people and communication skills, both verbal and written.  Ensure that key performance indicators are aligned with the client organization’s objective to critically analyze, assess, and manage a variety of continuity programs, as well as coordinate with PMs or task leads to help develop emergency / crisis response policies, develop training and/or exercise events.  A competitive PM candidate should have the following experience and knowledge, which must be clearly described in the resume, along with security clearance status:

  • Manage business continuity analysts, strategic planners, training/exercise/evaluation professionals, and highly qualified experts.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze staffing needs, functional requirements, and operational priorities

  • Responsible for all financial activities associated with the contract, to include timekeeping, budgeting coordination and analysis, and invoice review and processing

  • Advise, inform, and update the Contract Representative, Contracts Officers, and applicable client leadership about operational / personnel changes, requirements, and needs.

  • Adjust rapidly to shifts in priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously to include staff support relating to current operations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility; plus client specific suitability approval is required

  • Must have knowledge and experience producing, handling, storing, transmitting, and transporting classified materials, up to and including Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

  • Must have experience working with senior government and military personnel, and have exceptional written and oral presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks and effectively schedule required deliverables, meetings and follow-up actions

  • Familiarization with continuity or related emergency operations

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
