GDIT is looking for a Senior Operations Architecture Tools Systems Engineer to provide engineering, analysis, administration, and configuration support for a wide range of tools. The ideal candidate will support IT management, deployment automation, requirements management, request management, demand management, application problem analysis and resolution, data validation, application and/or data migration, and test management technologies. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to installing, configuring, securing, deploying, integrating, administering, maintaining, patching, tuning, and upgrading tools including but not limited to Microfocus Serena, Informatica, Birst systems residing on Linux and Windows server operating systems.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS Final Suitability• Bachelors degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
Windows Server knowledge
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills, communication, ability to work in a team environment, adaptability to changing priorities and environments, multi-task, and willingness \ initiative to learn
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, conflict resolution and management skills
Ability to support non-traditional working hours (including after-hours or weekends) when necessary

Desired Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in computer engineering, systems engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field of study
8+ years of relevant experience
5+ years experience in an application management role
AWS Console – S3 and Redshift knowledge
Informatica maintenance and knowledge
Microfocus Serena Requirements Manager (RM) and Serena Business Manager (SBM) knowledge
Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint knowledge
Certification in ITIL Foundations or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
