GDIT has an exciting opportunity for an AN/MLQ-44A Trojan Prophet-Enhanced Technician at Camp Humphrey, Korea.Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance. Experience and knowledge of Trojan Prophet systems.
To manage and administer Prophet maintenance program throughout the area of operation (AOR).
Perform all aspects of Prophet systems troubleshooting and repair to include communications-electronics, computer systems, sensor systems, SATCOM systems, optics, LAN and data communications, configuration and maintenance of servers, routers, switches, multiplexers, workstations and peripherals.
Performs inspections of system components, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of modules and circuit cards to the lowest replaceable unit (LRU).
Performs moderately complex technical functions such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems, or specialized test equipment to support products or product performance to validate, investigate and resolve matters of significance.
Read and interpret schematic and engineering drawings and diagrams. Perform operational test and return to service checks.
Develop integration plans and performs hardware integrations and manages documentation schematics and modifications.
Configures computer software, communications devices, and peripheral equipment to operate within designated networks.
Perform logistic support requirements such as research, and equipment and spare part inventories.
Provide Technical representation at meetings and consultations with clients or their representatives.
Manages customer expectations as the on-site company representative.
Maintain strong attention to detail.
Maintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independently.
Interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful way.
Multi-task efficiently and work in a fast pace environment on multiple projects.

Trains customer personnel at the installation site in proper use of highly specialized electronic equipment.

May be required to go TDY to multiple locations within SWA.
Majority of time spent providing repairs in a shop environment and at the customer location.
The Ideal Candidate must have:
An active U.S. Government TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
MS or BS and equivalent Military/Technical Experience.
Valid driver's license.
Valid US Passport.
Strong background in electronics, and communications to include tactical Satellite Systems (Trojan Spirit II (V)2/3, Trojan Spirit LITE (V)1/2/3, Prophet T- LITE).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Possess high reliability soldering skills and is experienced in repair of PCB (Printed Circuit Boards), and in the use of Test Equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, millimeter's, power meters and DC power supplies.
Ability to meet internal paperwork requirements.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Minimum of three years Electronics/Communications technical experience.
Experience with various COMSEC equipment and configurations, communication system, data-networks to include Fiber-Optics/Networks, and VOIP.
Ability to troubleshoot and isolate hardware or software configuration malfunctions in multi-vendor integrated networked systems.
Experience in interpreting system drawings, electronic schematics, network drawings, engineering drawings.
Two years performing system functional analysis and failure data reporting, evaluate system performance, install approved system modifications, and recommend system architecture and technical change proposals.
Capable of performing analisys of system operations and performing training.
Experience troubleshooting, fault finding, and repair of electronic equipment.
Experience with communications analyzers (service monitors) spectrum analyzers, and volt meters.
Experience working in hostile and austere environments.
Experience in Customer support.
Experience in stock control and asset management.
Experience in a forward-facing customer support role.
Excellent customer presence as well as verbal and written communication skills, writing system documentation documents, and communications involving system installation and operation.
