The Data Science Project Manager is responsible for leading the project or multiple tasks and retains overall responsibility for performance including cost, schedule, deliverables and contractual compliance. The candidate will prioritize task assignments and completion dates, ensures quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting project/client deadlines and budget constraints. The candidate will work with the customer, other project managers, consultants, programmers, data scientists, and analysts to manage data requirements and see those requirements through to completion. The candidate will serve as the client liaison on all project matters, and may work under the Program manager for multiple projects. The candidate must have familiarity with the manipulation of unstructured data in a data analytics environment, and the use of open-source tools, cloud computing, machine learning and data visualization.
Bachelors degree in a relevant subject matter area(s)
4+ years experience in Program/Project Management
2+ years experience in Project Management within Data Science environment directing small teams (5 or less) in an Agile environment
