Job Description

The Network Designer will possess expert level experience in LAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) including; centralized monitoring and management in large-scale, high-availability environments.

Job Requirements

  • 13+ years of experience in Network Communications industry required.
  • Possess expert level experience in large scale LAN/WAN switching environments.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware/software fundamentals, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook & Visio.
  • Expert level in TCP/IP fundamentals.
  • Expert level experience with Routing.
  • Network survey/deployment/support experience
  • Physical infrastructure experience required.
  • Project lead / management / strong organizational skills
  • DoD 8570 certification IAT-II with Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent

Position is not fully funded yet

The likely salary range for this position is $140,000 - $210,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
