We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design J2EE software using object-oriented design patterns
• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Develop Java/J2EE applications to solve highly complex technical problems
• Develop test harnesses to support software testing
• Provide software support for a real-time air traffic management system
• Debug software problems and provide solutions
• Development of software requirements
• Documents verification and validation of solution sets and protocols
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
• Ensures software standards are met

• Bachelor’s degree( in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field) + 10 yrs. related experience     

• Extensive experience using Java /J2EE applications
• Experience using C/C++
• Vast knowledge of the software life cycle
• Experience with Ansible and or containerization/virtualization desired
• Strong Linux knowledge/experience
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, XML and experience with databases
• Demonstrate strength in solving complex problems
• Interpersonal skills to interact with team members and customer
• Flexible with schedule 
• Dependable
