As an Applications Architect supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service.  GDIT is seeking highly cleared candidates with active TS SCI w/Poly to provide infrastructure support of enterprise –wide systems and products for the Intelligence Community (IC).  The Contractor team shall be responsible for providing Software Engineer support to the Sponsor's warehouse management application. One of the Sponsor's components is focused on maintaining a web based warehouse management application. 

The applications architect serves as the lead technical resource providing strategic oversight and planning for applications architecture and design.  Coordinates development of new software systems, provides technical expertise in software architecture, document and design specifications, produces prototypes to demonstrate application design.  Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating system environment.

In this role, typical tools/skills utilized will include:

  • Experience working as an architect on a system from beginning to include design phase.
  • Experience working with vendors assessing products.
  • Knowledge of customer security requirements.
  • Ability to apply security practices.
  • Familiarity with platform hardening techniques.
  • Knowledge of PKI infrastructure.
  • Experience as an embedded systems developer.
  • Experience developing to real time systems.
  • Knowledge of or experience with mobile device management tools.
