As an Administrative Assistant IV, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
The Administrative Assistant II will provide direct executive support to four principals, and it is a customer facing role. The AA will be expected to interact with sponsor and other mission partner officers at all levels
They must have the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and discretion while serving as a principal's liaison for interactions with officers at all levels within and outside the organization
The AA will be the main focal point for the front office, to include some level of autonomy, being comfortable operating in an environment, which at times, is ambiguous; being the main, front facing focal point for incoming office visitors; the main, front-facing focal point for new officers, both staff and contractor, ensuring they have a quick and smooth transition into the office; regular contact with the main branch front office and other sponsor and community components for meeting arrangements, and daily functions for the leadership team
The candidate will serve as the administrative support member of the office support team. The AA should maintain professional decorum in all aspects of the job to include physical appearance/dress, personal interactions and phone etiquette, desk cleanliness, area cleanliness, etc
The candidate will be the front office point of contact for ordering supplies and any connections required for IT support and requests
Travel of any kind is not expected. The candidate should be able to lift 20 to 40 lbs., receiving office supplies orders that are placed
HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The work schedule is flexible but must be available to work during core hours Monday through Friday 0900-1500, with a preferred time of 0800-1600
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
This position is on customer site
