As an Administrative Assistant III, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
The Administrative Assistant (AA) for this office must be flexible, adaptable, and resourceful enough to work in a changing environment with minimal oversight
The job is fast-paced and requires significant customer interaction, attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities. The AA must have excellent people skills, a professional demeanor, and be able to work well with employees at all levels
The AA should also have the ability to work as a member of a team, possess excellent interpersonal skills and use discretion in all areas of the job. Good oral, written, and organizational skills are essential for the position
The AA will have a significant degree of autonomy and discretion to manage their account, which typically will focus on direct career development support of the hundreds of personnel in multiple Mission Center departments for which the AA is responsible. Some tasks are transactional, but much of the work is dynamic and requires problem-solving skills to address unique issues for respective officers
There are no physical requirements for this position, and no travel opportunities. Local travel within the WMA to other buildings will be very limited, if needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The core hours of the position are 9:00am to 2:00 but the department is extremely open to a flexible work schedule
Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own
This position is on customer site
