General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) has an opening for the position of Project/Task Sr. Manager (Ref# PTSM1017SR).

Work Location:  3150 Fairview Park Dr., Falls Church, VA 22042.  Position may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Job Duties:  Lead a team of developers providing IT development and support requests for supporting CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) initiatives on the Salesforce platform.  Collaborate with client to solve complex policy and system integration activities across several CCIIO components, leveraging knowledge of the technical systems including Plan Management, FMPS/PSP, MATS, and SPIDR.  Lead a team that will design, develop, and maintain software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications.  Develop better and more efficient ways of delivering solutions that meet business objectives.  Create, update, and maintain system documentation.  Write process requirements, technical design documents, and standard operating procedures.  Responsible for continually advancing the technology in a collaborative and creative Agile environment using many of the latest technologies and industry best practices.  Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations regarding technology improvements, development best practices, standardization, and upgrades.  Work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization.  Oversee Salesforce application design, development, configuration, testing, and deployments.  Work closely with Salesforce Architects to provide technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet policy deadlines with optimal solutions.  Collaborate with product owners and client business owners to build development roadmaps and timelines.  Review and implement new Salesforce features and other software solutions in coordination with the development team.  Use of Agile, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Salesforce, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP/REST, JIRA, and Confluence.

Requirements:  This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.  Plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer, Salesforce Developer, or related experience.  Position requires 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, JIRA, and Confluence.  SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification required.  40hrs/week.
