Our work depends on a Senior Data Analytics Lead/Consultant joining our team to support NIH activities in Bethesda, MD.   

At GDIT, our people are at the center of everything we do. As a Data Analytics Lead/Consultant, you will lead the data analytics program supporting the NIH Office of Management.  You will work with QlikView and Qlik Sense to extract qualitative and quantitative relationships (i.e., patterns, trends) from large amounts of data and gather and organize information for use in supporting decision-making processes. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with NIH executives to provide recommendations on how analytics can be used to meet the strategic needs of the Office of Management
  • Supporting NIH in use of data visualization tools
  • Overseeing multiple projects within the analytics program from initiation to closeout
  • Extracting actionable insights within large datasets to facilitate making informed business decisions
  • Supporting NIH Analytics Community of Practice by providing recommendations for enterprise analytics strategy and employee training
  • Collaborating with customers to translate business needs into requirements and developing appropriate data solutions


  • B.S. or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years data analytics experience
  • Minimum of one year experience using QlikView and/or Qlik Sense to develop ETL processes, data models and interactive data visualization dashboards
  • Experience analyzing data sets for trends/patterns and highlighting key insights that facilitate data-driven decision making
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience developing and presenting presentations to executive level staff
  • Prior experience working with customers to ascertain requirements and translate them into a solution that meets their needs
  • Experience managing multiple projects from initiation to close
  • Familiarity with RDBMS applications, such as Oracle database
  • Ability to obtain Level 5 Public Trust
