Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons above Brigade – up to an including Theater level. Mentors unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training. Serves in a senior-level (rank of Colonel or higher equivalent) mentorship or observer/controller role when requested. Provides technical expertise in leadership, strategy, and joint-service/international operations with understanding of the global application of land power to meet strategic military objectives. Must have the ability to understand, visualize, communicate, and assess key decisions, risks, and critical intelligence and information requirements in support of Mission command training in multi-domain operations (MDO) between and within the echelons of command. Gathers observations based on unit actions during training exercises and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs). Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.
Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs. Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.
Masters Degree required.
Former Military Intelligence Officer required experience required.
