As a Configuration Management Specialist (Senior) in support of a large enterprise effort, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provides configuration management support to assigned projects
  • Provides Change management support to assigned IT projects
  • Responsible for tracking and procurement of IT equipment assigned from various projects and change tickets
  • Regulates and implement the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into project requirements along with related firmware, media, and other IT assets
  • Provide site surveys for proper procurement and installation of IT equipment
  • Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy that supports adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Complete change management assessments to include RFC's, and project integrations
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Participates in special projects as required

BA/BS or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Security + and Windows Server 2016 certifications

5+ years experience in configuration/change management

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and configuration management database (CMDB) tools
