As a Configuration Management Specialist (Senior) in support of a large enterprise effort, you will be responsible for the following:
Provides configuration management support to assigned projects
Provides Change management support to assigned IT projects
Responsible for tracking and procurement of IT equipment assigned from various projects and change tickets
Regulates and implement the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into project requirements along with related firmware, media, and other IT assets
Provide site surveys for proper procurement and installation of IT equipment
Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy that supports adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
Complete change management assessments to include RFC's, and project integrations
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Participates in special projects as required
BA/BS or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Security + and Windows Server 2016 certifications
5+ years experience in configuration/change management
Active TS/SCI clearance
Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and configuration management database (CMDB) tools
