The DNS Architect is responsible for the design, review and improve existing/transitioning and new DNS and DHCP architectures as well as create and update DNS and DHCP designs. They will be tasked with leading a DNS and DHCP migration efforts as well as expected to be a DNS and DHCP SME and be current on changes and advancements in DNS and DHCP technologies.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience.
Five years’ experience in network engineering and support for DNS and DHCP;
Experience with DNS security technologies including DNS Sec and DNS Firewalls;
Experience with complex DNS data migrations
Experience with complex DHCP migrations
Candidate must be able to meet German TESA requirements.
Candidate must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification on Day 1.
Candidate must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire.
Candidate must obtain one or more of the following certifications within 6 months of hire: VMWare VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, MCSE, MCSA
A bachelors degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
An associates degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
11 years of recent specialized experience.
