Our work depends on a Technical Architect joining our team to lead technical planning and design of Data Lake solutions, including integration of the solution with the existing systems for seamless data exchange in real-time.


  • Provide Engineering expertise in the formulation of systems' scopes and objectives. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Provide overall technical Subject Matter Expertise.
  • Analyzes and translates customer business requirements and provides technical solutions, including data streams, models, integration points, transformations, databases, analytics, and data lake/warehouse
  • Engineering data architecture framework, including metadata, data security, data transfer, modeling, and other reference data sets.
  • Applies knowledge of API (Application Programing Interface) for data services and databases
  • Provides expert knowledge for the design, development, build, analysis, evaluation, installation, and administration of database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, non-relational database architecture and procedures, metadata and repository creation and configuration management
  • Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods
  • Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design
  • Provides technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a data environment
  • Advises on engineering data solutions to business problems, data architectures, database management system facilities and capabilities, and the operation and tuning of databases


● Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Minimum five years of experience with healthcare information technology projects, including two years of experience with health care claims, provider and clinical data and two years of experience with healthcare interoperability.
  • Minimum three years of experience with design and implementation of large-scale data integration platform, be proficient in data architecture design and data integration with data virtualization technology, and be familiar with DB design, performance tuning, data ingestion and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.

● Required Technical Skills:

  • Data Architecture.
  • Date warehouse/Data Lake
  • Prior experience working with Clinical Healthcare Data and Claims/Provider data.
  • Knowledge of Analytical Tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Cognos
  • Database experience (Snowflake/ No SQL, or relational database)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, Cloud (AWS preferred)

● Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to design/architect solutions
  • Persuasively present technical materials to achieve buy in from stakeholders.

● Location:  Hybrid: Remote and Jackson, MS. (Expect to be in the office 50% of the time during the first year of the work.)

The likely salary range for this position is $118,800 - $178,200, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
