The Telecommunications Audio Visual/VTC Technician responsibilities include:
Provides remote and direct technical support for all AV and VTC systems and facilities.
Analyzes, maintains, and modifies AV, VTC and telecommunications systems to meet operational standards.
Monitors the operations of AV, VTC, and telecommunications systems and services of vendors.
Conducts studies regarding AV, VTC and telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
Plans and coordinates all moves and installation of AV, VTC, telecommunications equipment.
Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications systems.
Provides end-user training of AV, VTC and telecommunications features and functionality.
