At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Scrum Master supporting CMS, a typical day will include:
Coaching and mentoring the team in Agile values, principles, and practices
Facilitating the Agile ceremonies, such as daily Scrum, planning, retrospectives, and reviews
Coaching a continuous improvement mindset and recommend adjustments to established delivery practices
Acting as a servant leader and aiding with the resolution of blocking impediments
Identifying differences in understanding issues as they occur; working with the team to problem-solve or escalate to management if needed
Utilizing tools and reports, such as JIRA and Confluence, to collect, develop and analyze Agile data and metrics, managing progress on a daily basis
Experience as a Scrum Master within a software development environment
Experience using JIRA and Confluence
Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years
US citizen or a Green Card holder
Health Care Industry and/or CMS experience
Experience on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
Well versed in a variety of Agile approaches (SAFe, Scrum/LeSS, Kanban)
Some knowledge of development environments, platforms, and technologies including: Salesforce, Java, general web development and cloud technology
Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority
Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment

The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
