At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant III a typical day will include:
Candidate will be the focal point for customer service inquiries at the front desk as well as via email, and will be the primary POC responsible for scheduling one-onone appointments for members of the workforce, escorting service providers, approving/disapproving reservations, and ensuring equipment and spaces are set up properly for reservations
The candidate will interact directly with members of the workforce at all levels, and may or may not be aware of their level during face to face interactions. The candidate must have strong customer service skills and communication skills
The candidate should be able to perform duties requiring up to 20Ibs of lifting, as well as be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. It is expected that the candidate dress in appropriate attire in line with the office uniform. The uniform shirt will be provided to the candidate. Until the uniform is provided the candidate should wear khakis with a polo shirt, and soft soled shoes.
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The day will begin at 7:45 AM and end no later than 6:00 PM, to be divided between two candidates with emphasis for morning coverage. This position will cover the 7:45a-3:45p shift.
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
