Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an experienced Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues and provide exceptional customer service.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area

• Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested

• Responsible for stakeholder engagement and derivation of requirements

• Conduct regular meetings with the program manager and project team, documenting current status of project including technical, schedule and financial issues that may be present

• Responsible for translating requirements into user stories with testable acceptance criteria

• Able to provide clear communication of the vision, goals, and product backlog items to development team

• Experienced Scrum master with documented ability assisting the product owner to understand and manage the backlog and sprint planning

• Documented experience with producing content using Agile project management tools

• Demonstrated effective leadership and strategic thinking

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 8+ years of related work experience

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification

• Experience leading large Case Management implementation cutover and deployment (IBM, Appian, ServiceNow, Pegasystem, Microsoft, Salesforce)

• PMP certification

• Master's degree preferred
