At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant IV a typical day will include:

  • The FO is seeking a highly motivated, polished, and organized officer to serve as a contract Administrative Assistant (AA) in the Enterprise. The AA is an integral part of the Front Office Executive Staff led by the Chief of Staff. This position affords an opportunity to work in a busy environment interacting on a regular basis with senior leadership and staffs throughout the Sponsor Organization.

  • The FO AA will also work closely with FO staff, several business units. as well as five tradecraft schools' Deans and Deputy Deans to function as a team in supporting the entire front office management team

  • Maintaining a schedule of appointments for the front office senior executive team (3 SIS & 1 GS-15) using Outlook

  • The AA will create and monitor communications traffic and disseminate correspondence related to the business area to the front office management team on a daily basis

  • Inprocessing/Outprocessing of Enterprise officers to include preparing and submitting access requests via customer system to ensure officers have appropriate accesses to files/folders

  •  Applying knowledge of travel regulations and policies to secure flight/train. hotel, and rental car reservations for both domestic and foreign travel via the customer travel database

  • Planning, scheduling, organizing, and executing a variety of corporate events


  • HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Available to work during core hours Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

  • Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
