The Operations Endpoint Security SPT Technician provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will operationalize endpoint security by utilizing tools in order to achieve a robust, flexible, endpoint protection capability that enables critical NETCOM Operations efforts across the DODIN. The Endpoint Security SPT Technician will assist to provide a Common Operational Picture (COP) demonstrating the cyber hygiene of all Army endpoints; risk, trends and threat analysis; and key performing indicators (KPIs).  We are looking to hire a full-time Operations Endpoint Security SPT Technician to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

  • DISA HBSS Administrator 201 and HBSS Advanced 301 certifications
  • Endpoint security and network tools
  • Network and systems security and compliance
  • Awareness of current and developing cyber threats, tactics, procedures, and vulnerabilities
  • Monitor HBSS for intrusions, failures and other issues
  • Monitor HBSS software to ensure that the clients/servers are operational and reporting properly
  • Ensure the environment is updated according to DoD standards and guidelines
  • Follow approved DoD, STIG standards and DoD IAVA requirements
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the management systems
  • Monitor the health and performance of the security technology systems
  • Excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Visio                                                           

Education

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience

Qualifications/Certifications

  • DoD 8570.1-M Certification: IAT II
  • Computing Environment Certification
  • Clearance: Top Secret, must be able to obtain SCI
  • 10 – 15 years of experience in information technology field
