The successful candidate must have a fully approved Top Secret Clearance. The selected candidate will provide testing and engineer support for Submarine Very Low Frequency/ Low Frequency Receiver (SLVR) at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in San Diego, California.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.
  • Designs new or modifies existing products, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications.
     

Required Qualification

  • Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) 1 certificated
  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or 10+ years’ experience with hardware testing

Desired Skills

  • Submarine Radio Room Communication Experience
  • Electronic Circuits Devices
  • Experience with the US Navy
