Manages the ordering of materials and components to support new and existing USSOUTHCOM AO Uniform IT requirements. Develop supply chains for cost- and time-effective routine procurement actions. Provide cost comparisons and analyses of recommended vendors to manage costs on supplies and services. Verify procurement requirements through the maintaining of communications with stakeholders. Ensure compliance with applicable USSOUTHCOM and FAR regulations in the bid process. Coordinate with GDIT and USSOUTHCOM procurement personnel when procurement actions occur.

  • Requires the ability to perform work under continuous deadline pressure. 
  • Prepare bid packages: compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential vendors. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable USSOUTHCOM and FAR regulations in the bid processes. 
  • Validate funding availability with appropriate POCs. 
  • Collaborate with logistics to track order delivery dates, resolve discrepancies, file damage claims, and process receipts for invoice payments.  
  • Collaborate effectively with site POCs and internal teams. 
  • Provide customer service support via email and phone. 
  • Attend project related meetings. 
  • Provide daily status to customer POCs for all procurement activities.  
  • Provide asset management attributes of procured items in compliance to USSOUTHCOM Configuration Management requirements. 
  • Process ODC (Other Direct Cost) requirements monthly (Tolls, Parking, Housing, Vehicles, Internet, etc.).  
  • Prepare customer documentation and funding requests daily. 
  • Maintain purchase records, generate monthly reports, and provide purchase forecasts. 
  • Utilize various tools in performance of daily procurement duties (CHESS, IFS, BPM, ServiceNow, and SharePoint).
