GDIT is has an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Technician for Ft. Bragg, NC. Must have a current and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • The Electronic Technician will maintain and repair electronics and electrical-mechanical equipment: communications-electronics, computer systems, sensor systems, SATCOM, optics, LAN and data communications.
  • Performs inspections of system components, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of modules and circuit cards to the component level.
  • Candidate must have a strong background in electronics, and communications to include SATCOM.
  • Must be experienced in interpreting system drawings, electronic schematics, network drawings, engineering drawings, possess high reliability soldering skills, is experienced in repair of PCB[Printed Circuit Boards], and in the use of Test Equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, millimeters, power meters and DC power supplies.
  • Experience with various COMSEC equipment and configurations.
  • Able to troubleshoot and isolate hardware or software configuration malfunctions.
  • Experienced in performing scheduled and unscheduled preventive Maintenance Checks and Services [PMCS].
  • Can perform system functional analysis, failure data reporting, and evaluate system performance.
  • Prepares and presents a range of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the Site manager.
  • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
  • Must have a current and active Secret clearance
