Warehouse Specialist II -TS/SCI w/Poly

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be trusted to work independently and deliver agile solutions. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Maintaining good communication with the team
• Must be able to operate autonomously and serve as back-up to the other logistics officers
• Work can be dynamic at times with daily transactional work
• Candidate will mostly interact with outside vendors/entities with some limited interactions with students and instructors
• Must have good written/verbal communications skills and must be able to do a short, prepared presentation once a month to students on an as-needed basis
• Will be required to pitch in when necessary to ensure success, and therefore if someone else on the team is out, it will be necessary to be trained to back up the other team members
• Required to drive to a sponsor owned vehicle regularly throughout any given week as the assistant vehicle fleet manager occasionally without much notice
• Order supplies when required and will research alternative solutions and/or alternative purchasing options for customer for a range of items such as typical office supplies to tradecraft specific materials with minimal oversight
• Responsible for updating the sponsor asset tracking software or its successor system to maintain accountability for 300+ phones, 350+ laptops, and other various customer items
• Will be working with classroom support between class offerings to clean out classrooms of excess supplies or leftover supplies from classroom exercises
• Will assist logistics team members on vehicle inventories, inspections dates/timelines, and vehicle registrations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma
• 4 years of experience
• TS/SCI w/polygraph
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office including advanced proficiency with Outlook, including Excel and Word at the intermediate level
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record
• Customer will request extra hours if a class is in session, but not on holidays
• Must be knowledgeable and/or have experience with disposal of HAZMAT materials and maintenance of material records as part of their routine duties
• Must have experience with manifests, packaging and packing lists
