GDIT is seeking a Task Order Project Manager to support the Defense Logistics Agency. The project manager will be responsible for the overall management of the contractor team and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the PWS are implemented in a timely manner. The Task Order Project Manager will coordinate work carried out under this contract with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Contracting
Officer on all contractual and business issues.
The Task Order Project Manager shall provide the planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary for effective and efficient accomplishment of all requirements contained in the individual task order. The Project Manager shall provide guidance and enable delivery teams to adopt and perform agile development activities. Establish processes for managing a portfolio of work in an agile way.
The Task Order Project Manager provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s). Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Responsible for scope, cost, schedule, and performance of assigned project or task(s). Manages or directs resources required to perform assigned project or task(s).
Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.) plus five (5) years relevant experience and 5 years of leadership experience in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
Experience in delivering and deploying Agile projects using agile project management methodology.
Minimum Education: BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
Relevant agile certification from a nationally recognized authority.
Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
Typically supervises assigned staff, may include subordinate supervisors.
Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Manages risk tracking process.
Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison
Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
