ARMA Global is seeking a qualified candidate to provide technical documentation services to support to organizational Development & Engineering projects to deliver next-generation technologies across a wide-range of services and emerging capabilities, culminating in the delivery of unparalleled sustainment of services that enhance customer mission effectiveness.  

In this role you will:

  • Work with a team of professionals responsible for implementing a System of Systems engineering approach
  • Ensures high-quality deliverables and lead the review and approval process for all client deliverables
  • Define and track the review process, and review documents to meet standards of professionalism and quality
  • Ensure proper branding, classification markings and follow Records Management processes.
  • Manage documents using one or more collaboration tools
  • Participate in strategic engagements and events, as required
  • Produce versioned documents based on templates within the software tool
  • Review and edit briefings using software markup languages
  • Perform quality control on documents
  • Ensure documents are standardized and consistent across all supporting Services

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience using a documentation automated environment
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems such as SharePoint or Plone
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell or Bash
  • Experience with text editors such as Sublime, Atom, Vim, or Notepad++
  • Experience with markup languages such as Asciidoc, markdown, or LaTeX
  • Experience using source control managers such as Git, Subversion, or Mercurial
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision
  • Experience with Web 2.0 languages such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS knowledge is a plus

Security Requirements:

  • Must have a SECRET clearance

Work Environment:

  • Work environment is administrative office

Education, Certification and Experience Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree in Computer Sciences or a related field preferred
