Our work depends on an Information Technology Asset Management Lead joining our team to support GDIT activities at Herndon and Falls Church VA.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Information Technology Asset Management Lead supporting GDIT, you will be trusted to work on Information Technology Asset Management and Service Management. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with our internal GDIT customers to solve technical, logistical and asset lifecycle management
  • Providing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware
  • Working closely with GDIT employees to ensure IT tickets are responded to, and resolved, in a timely manner
  • Monitoring and responding to hardware and software problems with a variety of testing tools and techniques
  • Providing onsite support for other technical and organizational groups including hands-on/eyes-on assistance for remote teams
  • Offering technical support and training to end-users
  • Expanding current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
  • Asset Management
  • Inventory Control
  • Imaging, Patching, and Active Directory Assignment
  • Device Deployment, Onboarding and Off-boarding support
  • Service Now Configuration Management Database
  • Bullet points on primary responsibilities, quantify if applicable
  • Imaging Devices via SCCM
  • Managing Inventory
  • Onboarding Deployment of End User devices needs
  • Configuration Management of Service Now configuration items/assets
  • Process improvement of Equipment Turn In and Off-Boarding
  • International deployment of assets

Your success will be measured through Customer feedback, Process Improvements, agreed upon Key Performance Indicators(KPI) and Service Metric Data.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience OR allowable substitution of 9+ years of related experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Technical Skills needed:
  • Active Directory
  • SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
  • CMDB (Service Now Configuration Manager Database Module)
  • Hardware and Software troubleshooting Skills
  • Warehousing Logistic Operation
  • Inventory Management

Preferred Skills:

  • Hardware Certification
