GDIT is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to assist us in providing COTS implementation for the Office of Financial Resources (OFR) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). For this project, GDIT will gather requirements, set up the infrastructure and configure and deploy our solution to production. Candidates must have extensive experience of either COTS or custom build software life cycle development (SDLC), Agile, requirement gathering, and great collaboration.

The position can be 100% remote!


  • Requirements gathering.

  • Good understand of enterprise software, integration and migration.

  • Work closely with developers, customer daily to resolve and unblock any issues.

  • Provide updates in daily and weekly in stand-up meetings.

  • Participate in backlog grooming and design sessions.


  • A Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of overall applicable experience

  • 5+ yrs experience of software development

  • 5+ yrs experience of business requirement gathering

  • 3+ yrs experience of SQL database (Oracle)

  • Advanced technical writing skills and the ability to communicate clearly

  • Experience with Agile development tools, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence


  • Understanding of Appian framework and technology

  • Experience with creating test cases and execute test scripts

  • Must grasp new concepts easily and be willing to continually learn

  • Must be flexible and willing to help other team members in support of project goals



This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or the start date, if after December 8.

The likely salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
