As a Data analyst supporting the customer, you will be trusted with day-to-day operations and maintenance. In this role, a typical day will include:
Duties/Task and Responsibilities:
o Contributes to completion of specific programs and projects.
o Analyzes organizational data and conducts advanced statistical analysis. o Applies mathematical calculations to recommend solutions to technical problems of high complexity. o Models and evaluates the potential impact of data changes.
o Frame and scale data problems to effectively analyze, visualize and find data solutions
o Use automation and sophisticated software and programs to derive insights from data
o Review and validate customer data as it is collected
o Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data
o Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies for solving data problems
o Link analytic and data visualization products to database connections
o Use data science methods related to data architecture, data munging, data and feature engineering, and predictive analysis
o Work with unstructured text and natural language processing
o Perform statistical analysis
o Verify data quality, ensuring via data cleaning
o Define data augmentation pipelines
o Visualize and manipulate big datasets, both structured and unstructured
o Explores and visualizes data to gain understanding
o Perform preprocessing or feature engineering on given datasets
o Hands-on coding
o Python scripting
o Exploratory data analysis

o Demonstrated interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as a member of an integrated team and the ability to negotiate reasonable compromises among a diverse group of stakeholders with diverse opinions or diverging strategies
o Demonstrated record of good judgment and problem-solving skills necessary to make reasonable security
o Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to clearly express technical and complex strategy concepts to peers and seniors
o Team and mission-oriented self-starter requiring minimal supervision
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging area; ability to anticipate and manage changes or problems; assess impact and make sound recommendations
o BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
