Linux System Administrator - TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Job Description

Provide LINUX/Windows system administration.  Maintains legacy ACE virtual desktop (VDI) environment.  Support the design, development, and implementation of a new virtual desktop solution providing greater desktop performance using state-of-the-art commercial products while integrating the intelligence community’s identity management (iDAM) security models.

Design the process for migration from the legacy to the new VDI system Support IDAM system.  Perform backup and recovery operations. Support application integration.  Support the periodic patching of systems.   Perform system control, monitoring, and administration functions; establish and administer privileged user accounts in accordance with a role-based access; track and monitor privileged role assignments.  Establish and administer Privileged user accounts in accordance with a role-based access scheme that organizes information system and network privileges into roles.  Tracks and monitors privileged role assignments.

Requirements:

• Mandatory Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Experience managing legacy Linux servers and cloud resources
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position and eight (8) years of relevant experience
• An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree
• Must presently be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred); must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by date of security indoctrination with any necessary continuing education (CE) for certification
