GDIT is looking for an established leader of business strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience driving innovation and managing programs with multiple functional areas of scope.
Experience:
Overseeing complex program financials
Managing contract performance to exceed service delivery performance and customer satisfaction standards
Overseeing all contract management matters, including change orders and modifications
Translating client goals and policy into program operating practices, and procedures
Setting operational policy for the execution team and ensuring that those policies, procedures, and processes are followed
Build rapport and mutual trust with customers and employees
Ensuring that all lines of communication, both external and internal within the GDIT team, are functioning effectively
Working closely with the customer to identify and develop new business and service offerings for program expansion
Promoting reach back into the larger GDIT
Facilitating/coordinating cross-functional teams to develop, deliver, operationalize, document, and support solutions
Promoting and implementing the utilization of automation (e.g., AI) to drive continuous improvements in business value and customer experience
Innovating and improving services based on customer and business requirements to make them configurable, extensible, consumable, and more valuable for a federal agency and its customers
Managing multiple lines of service in a shared environment
Concurrently managing various stakeholder interests, including senior management, customers, users, and employees
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years’ experience managing large and complex programs comprised of multiple functional areas. (Additional relevant years of experience may substitute for a degree)
Excellent customer relationship management experience
Demonstrated experience presenting to and engaging with client leadership (government SES level) and GDIT leadership (Sr. Director and VP levels)
Excellent experience managing multiple subcontractors on a single contract
Experience applying methods and maintaining tools to track program, project, and task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance data
Knowledge of Federal Government operational principles, policies, laws and procedures
Strong communicator with collaborative management style and a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to change with a dynamic environment and manage stress of the change
