HOW Sr. Tactical Systems Engineer WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provide engineering services for both Combat System Computer Program integration and consolidation and all future Combat Systems Baselines. This includes support for Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT), AEGIS Combat Training System (ACTS), Advance Training Domain (ATD) and Total Ship Training Capability (TSTC) for shipboard installation and TSIPs.
Support the management of NTSP reviews across the SCSTC domain.
Provide support to the management and execution of the TSIP program across the SCSTC domain.
Support meetings, symposiums, and reviews with respect to the new tasking.
Submit Training and Systems Engineering data, communicate challenge areas, and coordinate improvements to student training plans.
Verify security clearances within Defense Information System for Security (DISS). The Contractor shall route and process SF 701 (Activity Security Checklists) and SF 702 (Security Container Check Sheets).
Review and process Foreign National Training Releasability and Security Letters to Integrated Warfare System (IWS) 4.
Work directly with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Navy International Programs Office (IPO) to coordinate Defense Institute of Security Assistance Management (DISAM) training for Civilian and Military employees.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
BA/BS or equivalent
8+ years of experience in the design and operation of complex U.S. Combat Systems. 2 years’ experience as a Tactical Action Officer or Warfare Coordinator on an Aegis BL9 platform or requisite experience as an instructor in BL 9. 2 years of operational experience with C5I systems and Interoperability experience as a Tactical Data Coordinator, Interface Control Officer, or Joint Interface Control Officer.
Experience in reading design documents, program performance specifications, high level interface block diagrams, evaluating commercial equipment, part task training emulations and simulations for applicability to create flexible and cost-effective training and readiness capabilities.
Active Secret Clearance
Demonstrated experience in the analysis of recommended tactical configuration changes and in determining the impact on system readiness and user functionality for tactical impacts.
