General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Appian Developer to join our team supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As an Appian Developer involved in all phases of the development life cycle, you will participate in design sessions, both from custom code as well as architecture stand point.
Contribute to efforts to provide reliable software systems that deliver new capabilities.
Provide full lifecycle software development to include the designing, development, testing, documenting and maintaining of software applications.
Analyzes customer requirements and may provide technical knowledge on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies of moderate complexity.
Assist with the research, evaluation, and deployment of cloud computing systems and large data analytics.
May assist customers with data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas and defining domain specific ontologies
Assists with the development of large data technologies, algorithms, and applications.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience developing in low code platforms such as Appian, UI Path, Salesforce or Power Platform
Strong business analysis, model driven architecture and model driven development
Experience working in Agile teams and Jira
Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
Innovative, and always looking for ways to integrate new technology to solve problems and fill in capability gap
Experience supporting Cloud based software development projects supporting the US Government
Appian Developer or related certification a plus
