Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs. Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organizes and delegates responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.

  • Lead and manage IT setup for USAID/BHA responses in conformance with established SLOs
  • Provide ongoing Emergency Operations Center (EOC) IT support for BHA response staff members
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform all duties in a tactful and professional manner during high stress emergency situations
  • Clear communication and technical writing skills.
  • Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of the technology used in supporting the EOC and response procedures
  • All aspects of IT EOC readiness and operations support.
  • Support up to four EOCs either at a location provided by Subcontractor (at the direction of the COR and BHA TPOC) or at existing USAID space.
  • Subcontractor shall also stand-up, serve, and support physical and  virtual EOCs
  • Maintain, host, and manage each EOC such that it is prepared to be fully functional and ready for use at all times.
  • Ensure that all in-scope equipment is available and operational at all EOC locations.
  • Ensure that all media (e.g., VTC equipment, TVs, cable news, etc.) are available and operational at all EOC locations.
  • Prepare and submit work detailed weekly, monthly reports/deliverables to prime contractor/clients.
  • Monitor client satisfaction through follow up on solving client issues and problems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience

Active Secret clearance required
