Responsible for the overall design and day-to-day management of the application engineering team and guides the successful completion of major engineering projects.
Responsible for team management of the application engineering efforts. Oversees the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex application that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.
Performs advanced systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).
Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution.
Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.
Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the Task Order.
Responsible for ensuring the quality and services delivered for particular task(s) for which this skill is performing the Task Leader position.
Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
Ability to prepare project management charts/plans that depict work assignments and completion schedules. Prepares and maintains all documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
Performs continual maintenance and provides advanced solutions for continual and highly complex security, backup and redundancy problems.
Invents innovative ways to drive production operational efficiency
Drives scalability and operability of supported systems/infrastructure
Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, including understanding user requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, successfully resolving issues and challenges, and developing creative solutions for process improvement
Must have programming knowledge in C#, and in Microsoft .NET and SQL environments.

Requires a MA/MS Degree.
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or equivalent certification.
COMPTIA Security + CE
Must have passed the most current Microsoft Certification Exam within the last five years for SQL Server.
Must have a minimum of fully adjudicated Secret clearance confirmed within JPAS.
