GDIT is the Prime contractor for the Flight School XXI (FSXXI) program, which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, Alabama, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provide flight simulator training.
GDIT has an immediate opening for a AH-64E SME/Functional Analyst Advisor in Daleville, AL. The successful candidate will have 6 or more years of experience in a AH-64E as a Standardization Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Test Pilot. Experience in Project Management, Army Material Acquisition programs and/or processes, Department of Defense modeling, simulation and technology requirements is a plus.
As the selected AH-64E SME/Functional Analyst Advisor, you will be tasked with the following (not limited to):
Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software systems quality operating methods, processes, and procedures.
Conducts evaluation of software systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation.
Defines appropriate measures to ensure product quality.
Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.
Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.
Reviews software systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability.
In order to be considered for the AH-64E SME / Pilot opportunity with GDIT, you must meet the following qualifications:
BS or equivalent + 9 years related experience, or MS + 7 years related experience
U.S. Army Aviation Instructor Pilot, or
U.S. Army Aviation Maintenance Test Pilot
Simulation Systems test, verification and validation
Skilled in personal computer, Microsoft Office software (Including MS Project) and data repository software
Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good planning and organizational skills
