General Dynamic Information Technology (GDIT) is looking for a Project Manager to join our team supporting the USPS in Raleigh, NC.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Compiles project data and reports on status of key projects to management.
Consult with management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of network infrastructure plans and designs, and includes emerging technology and product supportability into design and implementation.
Provide team with data analysis for provisioning orders in bulk to multiple network service providers using MS Office tools; some billing reconciliation issues.
Serve as liaison between network engineers, development team and customer management.
Provide advanced support for the diagnosis and resolution of complex problems to ensure minimal disruption of mission-critical systems and applications.
Supports teams and provides day-to-day direction for projects.
Bachelor's' Degree in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Business (or related field of study)
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience.
Ability to drive projects and provide day-to-day direction to team members.
Demonstrated strong project/program management skills on a network infrastructure team.
Familiarity of Agile methods.
Ability to create visual representations (e.g. presentations) of complex IT initiatives.
Expertise with MS Office suite of tools
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), and must not have traveled outside of the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
