As an IT Quality Analyst, Senior supporting the Chronic Condition Data Warehouse Virtual Research Data Center (CCW/VRDC), you will be trusted to provide expert quality assurance to ensure that the products we deliver to our customers are of the highest quality and integrity.

 In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Design and implement testing plans for incoming data products.
  • Identify test procedures and scenarios for the quality control of data delivery and access management.
  • Assist with design and review of access audit process.
  • Collect and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to various IT teams and make recommendations for improvements when needed.
  • Resolve moderate complex product issues and track progress.
  • Identify areas for improvement to enhance product efficiency.
  • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology and trends in IT quality assurance.
  • This position will focus on the quality and accuracy of data dissemination.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of controls that will support quality goals.

This position requires collaboration with many different areas of the contract including the infrastructure team and the application development team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and improve current process related to data quality
  • Assist in quality assurance activities
  • Implement quality controls where applicable
  • Monitor / audit use of quality controls
  • Recommend improvements to enhance current processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of experience in a quality assurance capacity.

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across locations.

Experience working with the following technologies and tools such as:
  Data Warehouse
  SAS
  Atlassian Tools
  PL/SQL
  ETL
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
