GDIT is seeking a Data Analyst Sr Advisor who at the direction of the Program Manager, serves as the Data Analysis Lead for the National Center for Childcare Data and Reporting.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Research Analyst Sr. Advisor supporting the Office of Child Care, you will be trusted to serve as the Data Analysis Lead.
Working with a team of 10 showcasing the team in a people-centric work environment
Work with NCDR technical team of software developers to define data and system requirements; develop specifications and produce technical reports, and enhance OCCs data collection and reporting capabilities (processing more than 50 million case records per year *
Working on reports, interpreting data, and providing in-depth summaries on salient issues, while meeting accuracy and timeline requirements.
Manage data analysis work to be performed
SME in program performance measurement, and process, outcome, and impact evaluations of domestic programs
Provide task products and outcomes on-time and within budget
Support new business development activities for HHS, specifically in research, monitoring, and evaluation as needed.
Participate in monthly/biweekly status meetings and other meetings
Master’s degree in a relevant field and and 5 plus years of relative experience.
At least 5+ years experience with large scale data collection and analysis; strong communication skills and ability to “translate” technical data findings into lay language; expertise in quantitative analysis;
At least 5+ years experience managing large scale data collection efforts, data cleaning, data analysis, and data archiving
Experience with SAS and SPSS
Expertise in advanced quantitative methods
Must be able to obtain a valid PIV card
Understanding of CCDF data
Experience in child care, education, health, or social services
