The candidate must be able to perform the following steps for handling incidents:
Prepare/Sustain/Improve (Prepare) - establish, sustain and improve the process in coordination with the RCC-E
Protect Infrastructure (Protect) - make changes in the infrastructure to protect systems or mitigate ongoing computer incident events
Detect Events (Detect) - recognize and report events when they occur and look for indicators that might identify future events or incidents
Triage Events (Triage) - categorize, correlate, and prioritize events and assign them to the organization of primary responsibility for further investigation in coordination with the RCC-E
Respond - plan, coordinate, and carry out effective responses to incidents.
Work with teams within and outside of information security as needed to provide guidance and oversight of technologies that may need to be used by the personnel of the incident handling, incident response, and digital forensics teams to accomplish their responsibilities Closely support and collaborate with other Cyber Security Operations teams
- Candidate must meet German German TESA requirements - Candidate must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements - Candidate must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire
German TESA requirements: - A bachelors degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; - An associates degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; - A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; - 11 years of recent specialized experience.
