Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technical resources (directly/indirectly) to deliver managed services solutions for infrastructure technologies.
  • Responsible for ongoing service delivery (attainment of SLAs, customer satisfaction, and processes and quality standards to support operations.
  • Point of escalation for team.  Responsible for managing and developing direct reports including the creation of training plans, coaching for improvement and addressing performance concerns.  Responsible for hiring and scheduling personnel.
  • Responsible for driving efficiencies through improving processes and implementations to reduce cost of delivery and improve customer experience
  • Provide input to clients to identify, develop, and release new solution offerings.  Understands skills, certifications, tools, and support needed by managed services team to release the offering.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships and coordinate activities related to selecting vendor partners.  Understand vendor programs for managed service providers and implications on managed services team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Project evaluation and feasibility assessment (7 years)
  • Workflow analysis and work scheduling (5 years)
  • Experience participating in IT Project teams (5 years)
  • Knowledge of security principles, network, storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies and systems (7 years)
  • Security risk mitigation (5 years)
  • Knowledge of data center technologies and requirements of a shared data center environment (5 years)
  • Technical and Strategic Planning (5 years)
  • Expertise in the architecture and design of IT infrastructure solutions (5 years)
  • Experience in maintaining, securing, and controlling the application of upgrades, service packs, patches, firmware, configuration backups, and maintenance agreements of systems (5 years)
  • Knowledge of corresponding cloud technologies and migration strategies (3 years)
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies (5 years)
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field, or equal experience in lieu of education.
